Palkhivala joined the chambers of Sir Jamshedji Kanga, one of India’s most renowned lawyers at the time. Under Kanga’s mentorship, Palkhivala quickly gained recognition for his analytical skills and courtroom presence. He authored “The Law and Practice of Income Tax” with Sir Jamshedji, which became a seminal work on Indian tax law.

- The Golaknath Case (1967)
