The Airtel Africa Foundation has announced the launch of the Airtel Africa Fellowship program, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting deserving undergraduate students from 14 African countries.

However, the program starts with an outlay of approximately Rs 4 crore (US$ 500,000). Thus, It will benefit 10 students for their entire four-year course duration at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) in Zanzibar.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must clear the admission process at IITM Zanzibar
  • Admitted candidates from 14 African countries with a need for financial assistance will be considered
  • The most deserving students will be awarded the fellowship
