The online registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) will close today, September 13, at 5 pm. Candidates who have not yet applied for the examination can submit their forms on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The exam, scheduled for November 24, is the entrance test for the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other business schools.

Important Details of CAT 2024 Registration
- Last date for CAT 2024 registration: September 13, 5 pm
- Exam date: November 24
- Admit cards: November 5
- Results: Second week of January
- Application fee: ₹1,250 (SC, ST, and PwD), ₹2,500 (all others)
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PwD)
The CAT 2024 application process is open to candidates who have a bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks. Those appearing for the final year degree examination or awaiting results can also apply provisionally.

Exam Pattern
- Three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA/Quants)
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Time per section: 40 minutes
- No switching between sections allowed
