JNVST 2024: Last Date to Apply for Navodaya Class 6 Entrance Test Extended! Do Not Miss this Last Chance!
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced an extension for the last date to apply for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class 6 (JNVST Class 6 2024). The new deadline is September 23, 2024. Parents can now submit application forms for their children on the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
Important Documents and Details about JNVST 2024
Before applying for the test, keep the following documents and details ready:
- Photo of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate and their parent
- Aadhar details/residence certificate
- Certificate verified by the headmaster of the current school (in the prescribed format)

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015 (both dates inclusive) can apply for the JNV’s Class 6 entrance test. Students must apply for a JNV located in the same district where they studied till Class 5.
JNVST 2024 Exam Dates
The JNVST 2024 will be held in two phases:
- January 18, 2025 (for candidates in specified states and districts)
- April 12, 2025 (for candidates in remaining states and districts)
Test Pattern
The test will consist of 80 questions for 100 marks.
