NASA’s Starliner Mission Faces Delays: Updates on Sunita Williams’ Return
On June 5, 2024, NASA’s Starliner mission was launched and faced various delays because of technical issues. Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are the members who carry forward the mission of demonstrating the spacecraft’s capabilities for future crewed missions. After some time of the launch, the technical issues are starting arsing.

Issues like Helium leaks and thruster failures have beset the Starliner spaceship due to which the delays occur. However, the situation is improving as recently NASA revealed the progress of thruster testing in fixing the technical issues. Happily, 27 out of 28 thrusters operating satisfactorily which is a great sign of improvement and the coming of Sunita Williams to Earth.
Current Status of Sunita Williams
As you all are aware of the fact that Sunita Williams is still stuck in space. Her spacecraft has been docked at the ISS since June 6. Various testing and evaluations are carried forward to ensure her safety in the space as well as her return. Due to the technical issues with the Starliner spacecraft, she is facing difficulties in making her return possible.
