What Did the Judges Decide on Kolkata Rape Murder Case? Justice Served or Forgotten After the Headlines Fade?
All eyes are on the Kolkata rape-murder case. While at a workplace in India, Dr. Moumita Debnath was brutally raped and murdered! As per the medical reports, doctors found the fluids of multiple men inside her. This matter sparks controversies and speculation all over the internet. If a doctor is unsafe at her workplace, then no woman is safe anywhere.
After the Kolkata rape murder case, what about those girls who are dreaming of becoming a doctor? Is this being in India and kind to others costs to women even to an 8-month-old girl child who was also raped? Why does everybody consider these rape matters normal after a few days?
Do they get any fun being part of controversies on social media and after the hype of the case, they start acting normal like nothing happened? But what about the family of that particular girl who did not get justice? Has our society or authorities failed? Actually, there is the mistake of both parties!
Looking for Justice for Kolkata Rape Murder Case!
Everybody is looking for justice. Women have taken to the streets to fight for justice. It should be noted that this is not the fight of only women because men are also tortured through various brutal ways and some news did not even come forward. Moreover, you can see several disparities between the cast, gender, religion, and so on.
Why everyone did not believe that everybody on this planet Earth is equally human? As you can see the discrimination against transgender even if they are not largely accepted by some countries is usually unfair! Don’t they are human beings like us? Don’t they have emotions?
What is Actually Pushing the Boundaries of People?
The rapists who were involved in the Kolkata rape-murder case have stuff related to porn on their phones. Not only this but there are several reasons which are pushing the boundaries of the rapists and every day a new case came across.
- Men are conditioned to view dominance as a key component of their identity!
- Women’s bodies are objectified in entertainment, which may contribute to a distorted view of what is acceptable behavior!
- There is also a societal failure in how rapists are dealt with, both before and after they commit crimes!
- The decline in respect for human dignity!
- Sexual Driven pleasures in men because of Porn!
The Failure of the Justice System for Kolkata Rape Murder Case!
Justice Delay is Justice Denied!
Day by day, the masses are protesting for justice but still, our higher authorities did not take any decision against all rapists. According to the rape statistics in India, a woman is raped every 16 minutes. However, this statistic is based on the cases which came forward but what about those cases which do not come forward? The whole of India is looking for Justice! The government should do something! Otherwise, everybody will fear stepping out of their home!

Need to be an Actual Change!
There needs to be an actual change in both our thinking and the rules surrounding the treatment of rapists. Nobody is protected but the one who does crimes can change his or her thinking! This thing that can not be denied is that most of the people did not even speak as they were only interested in taking part in the ongoing controversies on social media.
On the other hand, those who actually raise their voice are not listened to! Our higher authorities failed to provide justice by not punishing the rapists. These are the necessary changes to buy:
- A significant shift in how society perceives sexual violence and those who commit it.
- There is a pressing need for stricter laws, mandatory minimum sentences, and swift legal processes as they are delayed.
- It’s crucial to punish those who commit rape. Many rapists are repeat offenders, and without proper intervention, they are likely to harm others again.
- Changing this narrative involves education at all levels—teaching consent, respect, and empathy from a young age.
- A change in how we treat rapists must also include better support systems for survivors.
- There needs to be zero tolerance for such behavior, with clear policies and consequences for institutions
- This requires changes in law enforcement training.
