The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced a new registration procedure for students enrolling in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programmes starting from the 2024-25 academic year, beginning September 2024. Interested candidates can apply for UGC Online Courses!
Here’s how the new procedure works for UGC Online Courses-
- Students must register on the UGC-Distance Education Bureau (DEB) web portal using their Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)-ID.
- Upon registration, students will generate a unique DEB-ID.
- This DEB-ID ensures that students are enrolling only in UGC-recognised programs of eligible Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
