CAS’s Three Questions to the Appeal of Vinesh Phogat: Silver Medal or Not to Be Announced on August 13!
At the Paris Olympics 2024, Vinesh Phogat, an Indian Wrestler who hopes to win a medal is still alive. Everyone was so curious about the decision taken by the higher authorities which was delayed and will be announced on 13 August 2024. She was disqualified from the match because of being 100 grams overweight.
She was so determined and focused on winning the medal that even she made every possibility including blood donation and haircutting to manage her weight. In the end, she was unable to meet the requirements for the match. As a consequence, her disqualification was officially announced.

After all this happened to her, she appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) for the silver medal. However, the conclusion is still pending. The higher authorities of the sports asked three questions to the vines and delayed the process of announcing the final decision on whether she received the silver medal or not.
